Zoë Modiga’s “Abantu” featured on the Netflix drama series ‘Savage Beauty’

Award-winning singer-songwriter and pan-African activist, Zoë Modiga, has just been playlisted on Netflix’s drama series,Savage Beauty with her moving song, ‘Abantu’.

The song sang in isiZulu, is an ode to her people, the black people of South Africa.

The acoustic-backed song released on her album, ‘INGANEKWANE‘, which was released in June 2020, won Best Engineered Album of the year at the South African Music Awards last year.

In addition to landing the feature, she also makes a cameo appearance in the standout drama series that has a talented cast of actors such as Rosemary Zimu, Dumisani Mbebe and Angela Sithole.
