Afro-Soul Singer Yallunder is out with New Song “Emaphupheni Am”

Yallunder

Fresh off signing a record deal with Vth Season, Afro-Soul/Pop singer and songwriter Yallunder flexes her storytelling muscle on the Nhlonipho-produced “Emaphupheni Am”.

While heartbreak stories are the status quo amidst varying singing disciplines, her creative rendition is a dime a dozen.  Investigating a “taboo” nuance of breakup aftermaths, “Emaphupheni Am” explores two star-crossed lovers whose relationship ended because of pride.

The hindsight discourse finds Yallunder rummaging through what could have been if their situation took a different route and meeting her now ex-lover in the blissful memories nested in her dreams.

“It’s normal for you to still dream about them after a breakup; my dreams presented the good times, hence the excitement to fall asleep and see them in my dreams once more,” shares Yallunder.
