Fuse ODG’s “Osu” Mirrors the Social Issue of Sex Trade in the Suburb

Fuse ODG’s “Osu” Mirrors the Social Issue of Sex Trade in the Suburb

Fuse ODG is gearing up for forthcoming EP dubbed “Road To Ghana Vol 1” which is set to be outdoored this Sunday (17th October 2019).

“Osu” is the second record taken off the project, the first being “Timeless” featuring Kwesi Arthur. Osu is a suburb of Accra, undoubtedly the most visited and dynamic cultural hotspot in Ghana’s capital.

3-time MOBO award winner Fuse ODG’s latest single can easily be mistaken for a street anthem that pays homage to the suburb. This, however, is not exactly the case. The song is rather a piece of art which simply seeks to mirror the social issue of sex trade concentrated around the heart of the district – the Oxford Street.

The song features super-talented new age Ghanaian rapper, and Osu native Toyboi who delivers a witty and memorable guest verse.

Enjoy visuals for “Osu” below:
