Tinuke Announces Wait4It, a Weekly Music Series

Tinuke

Our favorite Ghana-based Nigerian rapper Tinuke took to her social media platforms to announce a weekly free music series dubbed #Wait4It in support of the release of her impending sophomore album.

The intention is to release free new music every Friday for a couple of weeks in a build-up to the release of the project.

The rapper first gained prominence in 2016 with the releases of singles ‘Waakye’ and ‘Collusion‘. Since then, Tinuke has blessed us with a critically acclaimed debut compilation project, mixtape called “H.E.R Mixtape”, H.E.R stands for: Having Extreme Rage.

Aside from that, Tinuke has worked on a number of collaborations, churning out a large handful of musical gems. Notable amongst them are “Aayalolo” & “What You Need” with Kuvie, “IRS” with Fortune Dane, “Same Vibes” with Gafacci, and most recently “Jackie Joe” with Jayso on the recent installment of his E0106 EP. Although hip-hop and RnB are maybe her strongholds, she’s experimented with Afrobeats, house music, and even grime working with some of Ghana’s finest producers in the process.

We can’t wait for the first offering of the #Wait4It weekly series.
