South African rapper, Sizwe Alakine has just released his first single since joining Warner Music South Africa in February.
The song, “After Tears“, is a touching tribute to Riky Rick and DJ Dimplez, both of whom sadly passed early this year.
The song features the electro-melodic amapiano sounds of Soweto’s DJ Stokie and Tycoon, along with Boohle’s vocals laden in kwaito flair.
“This song is an ode to all those who have passed on, something we’ve all experienced, particularly during the pandemic. My music continues to tell our stories and heal us“, Sizwe said.
The song is now available on all major digital platforms.
