Road to FAME Week Africa held last night in Cape Town

FAME Week Africa

The Road to FAME Week Africa event happened last night at the Hotel Sky in Cape Town.

Industry professionals across diverse fields of expertise in film, television, music and media met to deliberate on what to expect at the main event.

The overarching theme for the precursor was, “These are our stories, told by us, for us and the world.

As part of hosting the United States of America as its first guest country, there will be a cocktail party to celebrate the many cultural partnerships between the US and the continent. There will also be a dedicated American Village catering for US companies on the show floor where all one-to-one business meetings will take place.

In related news, FAME Week Africa sat down with Thembi Mpungose-Niklas, the Head of Licensing and Brand Strategy at Warner Music Group (across Sub-Saharan Africa with a specific focus on South Africa, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria) to chat for their Behind The Scenes feature last week.
