Nigerian superstar, Rema finally shares the music video for his new single, ‘Dirty’, a video so provocative, some TV stations can’t air it.

Directed by EARTHBOI, the artistically shot video follows Rema and his love interest through intimate scenes of love, lust, and everything in between.

Taken from his debut album ‘Rave & Roses’, ‘Dirty’ is the perfect way to end the summer of love with the playful production courtesy of his close friends London and Andre Vibez. Rema is in the midst of an extensive EU tour and kicks off the UK leg with two dates of Brixton Academy on the 7th and 8th of November before visiting Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.

It’s impossible to mention Rema without taking note of his current global hit single, ‘Calm Down’ featuring US pop royalty, Selena Gomez. A song that has steadily taken over and broken boundaries, it is currently sitting at No.18 in the UK Official Charts and has increased Rema’s monthly Spotify listeners to 23 million, making him the No.1 most streamed artist from Nigeria. With his new single, the Afrorave pioneer has gained chart success in The US, France, The Netherlands, Germany, and India to name just a few, his mission of “Afrobeats to the world” is well underway.

An international pop star in his own right, since his inception Rema came in and completely switched up the game and rapidly became one of the biggest names in the new wave of Afrobeats stars. From his recent collaborations with Placesplusfaces to his A-List fanbase (Barack Obama & Madonna to name a few), there is no predicting what he might do next.
