Oduma Essan Enlists Peruzzi & Orezi on Totally (Remix)

Nigerian-Ghana based musician, Oduma Essan wants his voice to be the loving and unifying factor when he is behind the strings of a guitar or in a studio recording a masterpiece.

The fast-rising artist is gradually parachuting his skills to the top with the remix of his hit song ‘Totally’, which features heavyweights, Peruzzi and Orezi.

Produced by Blaise Beatz, the song defines the pure concept of love where selflessness and sacrifice is prime. Centered on the authentic sound of African instruments, ‘Totally’ purely defines the talent of Oduma Essan as he sets out to cloud the media space with this banger. The video goes ahead to capture the real visualization of the concepts with beautiful scenery and classy models all over. With the mid-tempo vibe of the song, parts of the video were shot in slow motion to sync perfectly with the song to keep you glued while enjoying the song.

The award-winning artist insists he wants his music to promote love and unity as well as make good music that will bring joy on the faces of music lovers. ”My ambition in this music industry is to pass a simple message of love and unity and make good music that will bring joy to my fans here in Ghana, Nigeria and across the world”, he said.

Influenced by multiple award-winning Nigeria musician, 2Baba as well as veteran Ghanaian crooner, Kojo Antwi, Essan reveals the journey has not been all rosy as he strives to produce top quality music. According to him, the big artists should inculcate the act of helping upcoming musicians to find their way up there. The BNS Record artist bemoaned how sometimes it difficult getting a feature with a big act. ”Letting the world know your capabilities is not easy, pushing your work out there is very challenging”, he said. ”Sometimes getting some of the big acts on your project is not easy, they will give your reasons they can’t make it”, he added.

Oduma is working on a new project, which features some top Ghanaian acts. The project is expected to be mastered and completed early next year. Oduma is a holder of two awards at the 2018 South South Music Awards for ”Best Use of Cinematography & Most Viewer’s Choice”.
