South Africa’s young shining light Nasty C whose made major moves in 2018 to take Africa to the world is the first ever artist in the country to get to 100 000 subscribers on YouTube.
The rapper/producer has arguably had the biggest year of his career, first signing with Universal Music, dropping his sophomore album ‘Strings & Bling, appearing on US-Based popular podcasts HOT99, SWAY IN THE MORNING, TIM WESTWOOD, FIRE IN THE BOOTH (which has featured Hip Hop greats like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, NAS and T.I) and various other platforms to promote his brand was definitely many of the highlights in a year that was filled with rich music drops.
The rapper also officially announced his own independent label ‘Tall Racks Records’ which has already signed talented singer Rowlene.
Nasty C has hinted that this label will provide another opportunity for talented people his team identifies can become bigger brands and tackle the world stage.
