Sam Sowah, popularly known by his stage name HK, is a Ghanaian Afro-fusion artiste and producer. HK started taking music serious in college despite the fact that the ability and enthusiasm for music has been there since childhood. The name “Sensei” which later turned into a piece of his name originated from his fans for His sensational voice.

Earlier this year, HK featured on the Acoustic Night Show with Berla Mundi on Live 91.9fm. From that point he has worked with other artist and producers including Kuvie, eminently on the creation of “Before I Say Yes” by Mimi Elsa. The record later became the official signature tune for the Single Sisters’ Summit 2017.

Somebody is an exclusive record. One which he wrote and produced by himself. Somebody talks about living up for what we are made for and not living for the satisfaction of those around us. It talks about killing negative comparisons among ourselves whiles focusing on becoming the better us. HK wrote on his SoundCloud: “Never look down on anyone. We are all great people individually and deserve to be loved equally by one another. Love for my people.”

“My inspiration and drive comes from two AVMB’s quotes which says ‘Your mental picture is your actual future’ and ‘Success is Mediocrity'”, he said. “I just want to inspire the world through my music and be a major contributor to the global proliferation of Afro music.” He added in his interview with Berla Mundi on Live FM.

As of now, HK is said to be taking a shot at a series of singles and collaborations for his upcoming EP which he hasn’t affirmed yet.
