The native toned group has found a way to make a distinctive sound that best describes themselves by mixing trap, boombap, afropop, reggae and many more elements within African music.
Kwandebele EP touches on the struggles of an artist to stay their true self, humbled beginnings of where they come from, peer pressure that some kids go through within the community’s and the trials of being a young man who is trying to find a way to make it big.
Adversity and never giving up is a mindset they have strongly kept to.
The group dominantly raps in Ndibele but they always smoothly find a way to cater for different types of markets by adding English in small doses within the story-telling.

New age listeners and commentators always talk about how Souh African artists need to find their own unique lanes within the very much US cultured movements and I believe Klip Gang are headed towards the right direction.
There is something special building in this group and you can hear it first hand by listening to the 8-track EP.
Expect to hear a lot more from this team in the near future!
