Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer-songwriter Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi has set a record in India with ‘Touch It’.
This year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artist of the Year has garnered over 200 Million+ streams across all platforms in India with his colossal hit song ‘Touch It’.
The song which is off “The Golden Boy”, KiDi’s 2nd studio album, goes platinum in India after the sale of 120,000 copies. Early this year, a remix for Touch It was released featuring American rapper Tyga.
According to the Indian Music Industry (IMI), an international single that sells over 120,000 copies in India qualifies for platinum certification.
The talented musician shared the news via his official Twitter page saying:
