After getting featured on Camidoh’s recent single, “The Best”, Ghanaian Afrofusion artiste, Kelvyn Boy, is out with “Yawa No Dey” featuring the godMC M.anifest.

Prior to its official release, Kelvyn Boy confirmed in many interviews that the song was created out of the many controversies about him in the media.
According to him, he believes a good musician should be able to use his experiences as inspiration for creation.

“Yawa No Dey”, a song which talks about proving persecutors and naysayers wrong, features Ghanaian lyricist, M.anifest and was produced by Samsney. M.anifest’s verse, delivered in Twi and English touched on and addressed the negativity he has to go through every day as a successful artiste. His lyrics, “The stone that the builder go dey refuse, CornerStone den Mansion go dey use” caused quite a stir on social media as people wanted to believe it’s a hit at Kelvyn Boy’s former label boss, Stonebwoy.

Since it’s release, the independent artiste has had to explain in interviews that the song isn’t an attack on the Top Skanka.
