J.Derobie’s “Odo Bra” Video Highlights Ghana’s Magical Village of Nzulezu

Fast-rising dancehall sensation J.Derobie gives us the official music video for new single “Odo Bra”.

Although the Empawa artiste rose to prominence off the back of reggae-dancehall jams “Poverty” and “Irie”, he decided to switch it up on his latest single.

“I decided this time around let me show Ghanaians I can do Afrobeat as well with ‘Odo Bra’“.

The lush love-themed afrobeat tune produced by celebrated Nigerian producer – Killertunes still sees J.Derobie dazzle, clearly demonstrating his versatility as an artist. He employs hyperboles in professing undying love to his as he sings: “I Fit Use My Head Break Coconut For You”.

The Babs directed video is set in the magical village of Nzelezu near the coast at the far western side of Ghana. Nzulezu is a five-century old village that has been built on stilts above a lagoon, one of the ancient stilt settlements still in existence.
