American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons has announced South Africa as one of their destinations for their Mercury World Tour.
Imagine Dragons posted this news on their Twitter page saying:

As part of their release, they held a private listening party for Act 1 and an album Q&A last Friday in Vienna, Austria. They spoke on the themes of Acts 1 & 2 – the immediacy of death and the grieving and coping process that ensues.
They released Mercury – Acts 1 & 2 on Friday, July 1, 2022. A trailer for the project was made available on their youtube page before the release.

The group, which has won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance and topped Billboard 200 and Hot Rock Songs charts, is best known for songs like, ‘Thunder’, ‘Believer’ and ‘Radioactive’. Projects in their catalog include, ‘Continued Silence’ (EP) and ‘Night Visions’ (LP) (2012), ‘Smoke + Mirrors’ (2015), ‘Evolve‘ (2017) and ‘Origins‘ (2018).
