Gyakie makes Musical Debut with “Love is Pretty”

Jacqueline Acheampong is an emerging Ghanaian singer-songwriter who hails from Abuakwa in the Ashanti region. She, however, goes by the stage name “Gyakie”.

“When it comes to what genre I do, I’d say I sing to anything I’m comfortable with. You can tag me as an all-around artist. Nothing, in particular, inspires my music. It’s just my imagination especially when it comes to writing.”

Currently, a student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, reading Business Administration, Gyakie just officially who made her musical debut with single, “Love is Pretty” seeks to make a global impact with the release. “It’s my prayer this song touches the international market and people around the world get to hear of it and get to hear of me.”

“I am super excited about this one because it’s my debut! Everyone who has ever felt loved knows how pretty it is! That is where the inspiration of the song is coming from.”

The song will be available on Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud and all music platforms.
