On 18th August, 2017, M.I Abaga tweeted, announcing to his fans on the completion of his next studio Album. The rapper’s last album was 2014’s The Chairman, while his last project was the mixtape, Illegal Music 3: The Finale, which he dropped in 2016.

His announcement got his fans and followers hella excited. Cassper Nyovest, who already admitted to us in his interview with the Breakfast Club that he was a hustler and would do anything to hop on an album with anyone he saw fit replied to the tweet saying “And I’m not on it?

M.I then replied saying, “I guess it isn’t finished then!!! Check your mail in the am bro“. It’d be a great thing for African Hiphop if these two kings got together for a collaboration. There’s something else the Chocolate City CEO is aiming at getting – a Rick Ross feature.

Yesterday, M.I replied to a rather declarative Rick Ross tweet which said “Speak it into existence“. The Chocolate City CEO saw it as an opportunity to get the MMG Records CEO on his Project too and you gotta love how he implored his fans to get in on the action.

Nyovest on the otherhand who had still not received “the mail” from Abaga decided to reply to his tweet to Rick Ross. “Still waiting on the mail“, said the Thuto Record maker. Some have questioned Nyovest’s approach and declared it as very tasteless but hey, as he already stated, he is a hustler. His approach did pay off as it caught the attention of M.I who still showed his interest in collaborating with him.

Here are some of the twitter reactions that caught our eye concerning the prospective collaborations:

Do you think M.I and Ross or Cassper would make a great collaboration?
