TOUCHLINE – S.O.O.N [EP]

By  |

Muthaland Ent artist, Touchline dropped a compilation project of freestyle tracks he released over the past couple of years that didn’t necessarily get the recognition he’d initially wanted.

The buzzing rapper has been getting traction on the net and on TV in 2018. It’s already out there that the artist who doesn’t box himself in one genre is done with his debut album and it is set to drop later in the year.

Some of my favourite tunes on this EP are S.O.O.N (the official track), Don’t Try Me(A flex over Drake’s Duppy Freestyle beat) and If Tomorrow Never Comes.

With the ever changing trends in music and how the youth have been anxiously searching for new voices to stand up for ‘BornFree’ issues, debates and Touchline has taken it in his stride to help lead that voice.

Relationship pressures and juggling the hustle life is also one of the top five issues young youth and the older generation face and the rapper touches on this as well.

“I GAVE IT ALL UP JUST TO TELL MY STORY, I’M THE ONE WHO LIVES IT.. YOU CAN’T TELL IT FOR ME .. YOU WEREN’T THERE WHEN MAMAS TEARS WERE POURING.”
