Shatta Wale & Mayorkun Headline this Year’s Ghana Party In The Park

Organizers of the annual Ghana Party In The Park launched the 2022 edition of the music festival on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Ghana Party In The Park is an annual outdoor festival held in London for the Ghanaian Community in the diaspora. Hosted by Akwaaba Group since 2005, the festival attracts over 8000 people, making it the biggest Ghanaian event outside of Ghana. Attracting music lovers from the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Ghana.

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall act Shatta Wale formally known as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr took to his official social media page to announce that he has been billed to perform at this year’s event scheduled to take place on Saturday July 16, 2022. He will be headlining the event with Nigerian Afrobeats artiste Mayorkun.

Buzzing Ghanaian act Black Sherif has also been confirmed amongst other superstars to grace the stage. Some of the other acts include Eugy Official, Kelvyn Boy, Gyakie, Ofori Amponsah, Camidoh, KK Fosu, Kofi Nti, Barosky, Incredible Zigi, Edem, Sydney, and Kofi Kinaata.

Last year, the festival had performances from Ghanaian musicians like Sarkodie, KiDi, Yaw Tog, Mr. Drew, Amerado, S3fa, Kofi Jamar, Kwabena Kwabena, D-Black, Kweku Flick, and Camidoh, among others.
